The FAR Voice Outdial Application uses PC's, voice interface cards, and special software to automate the process of calling lists of telephone numbers and delivering a voice message when the phone is answered.

Each chassis supports from 4 to 120 telephone lines, and chassis can be linked by a network to create systems of almost unlimited size. Links to other computers can also be incorporated either for control of the outdial lists or for reporting purposes.

The system stores up to 1000 different outdialing lists. Each list may contain up to 1000 destination telephone numbers. The application provides several options when a call is successfully connected. For each outbound call, after connection, the voice system can:

In addition, the number of retries on busy, no-answer, intercept, or hangup may be specified for each member of each list.

Results of calls are written to a report file which is updated at the end of each call. Reports can be viewed on the computer screen or can be printed.

Lists of numbers to be called are entered and/or edited through user-friendly screens. The system also permits the loading of this information from other computer data bases.

The Outdial Application can be a stand-alone system or can be integrated with other voice/fax/data applications such as voice mail, audiotext, interactive voice response, or automated fax functions.
